Dear international friends, we kindly ask, for the sake of your foreign stomachs and our peace of mind, that you follow these recommendations:
1) If you have any food allergies, please inform the restaurant staff when dining out during your visit to our beautiful country.
2) If you don't like spicy food, ask if your chosen dish includes any "chile". Asking if it's 'spicy' alone might result in a vague 'no,' leading to potential tearful surprises later on.
3) We understand that many of you might not be used to the constant high temperatures, so please stay hydrated and carry a water bottle with you during your travels. Also, a gentle reminder that tap water in Mexico isn't for drinking, but it's perfectly safe to use it for washing your teeth, though.
4) If you're craving seafood, we recommend establishments located along the coast (near the sea) to ensure the freshest catch. It's not that we doubt the food preservation far from the coast, it's just that we do not trust your stomachs' resistance to Aztec bacteria (and you should not either).
5) Lastly, we encourage you to taste, eat, listen, dance, and savor it all because it's globally known that Mexican culture is magical, mystical, and a whole lot of fun. We want our wedding to be a completely immersive experience, a celebration of love for life, and a kaleidoscope of memories, music, flavors, and colors you'll never forget
