We met in college and fell in love immediately. She is a communications specialist. He is an engineer. We're worlds apart, but we're also kind of the same. Between projects, tons of homework, and different school schedules, we forged a friendship that blossomed with laughter, lots of dancing, traveling, and the promise of building a future together. We decided to love each other madly, and be the best at being forever young. When we met, we exchanged our wildest dreams and swore unconditional support for each other above all else.

In 2019 we ventured to the other side of the Atlantic and, with a suitcase full of hopes, a heavy heart and a future full of uncertainty, we said goodbye to our hugger families and our best friends. We discovered that life is better enjoyed while dancing cumbias and mariachi, that the people who really love you stay forever, and that the cold weather is just an excuse to hug each other tighter. We learned that opportunities in life are as unpredictable as a pandemic, and that the secret to being a happy couple lies in sweet treats and having a dishwasher.

 

We are Marvel fans and we like to dance rock n' roll. We love to enjoy a good beer, pretend we are sports commentators, and laugh as a method for insomnia. Our team is Barca and we are faithful followers of Messi. We hate beetroot, raw seafood and Real Madrid.

Now, after sharing so many laughs, a few extra pounds and gray hairs, some injuries and great anecdotes of hypothermia and poorly spoken Swedish, we are about to embark on the most exciting adventure of all: Getting married! Because if life is a comedy show, we want to be the main characters. So get ready for more cumbias, laughter and, of course, a lot of love.
